William Paul White

WHITE, William P., Lt. Co. USAR, Ret., husband of the late Bertha Gosmeyer, and the late Ada (Betty) Yorgovan. Brother of the late Edward A. White and Edwina M. Chaplain. Father of Donald (Helen), Arthur (Kathleen), Michael (Brenda) White and the late Theodore White. Also survived by step-son John Yorgovan, and step-daughter Elizabeth Mason, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an Eagle Scout since 1925. Served as Battalion Commander during WWII; graduated from the Command and General Staff College, Ft. Leavenworth, KS, and all of the Ft. Benning Schools; graduate of Littleford-Nelson School of Commerce; Life Member of the Retired Officers Assc.; 4th Degree Member St. Isaac Jogues K of C and Mother Seton K of C; retired member of Sheet Metal Local 24 (Old 141). On Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at 92 years of age. Visitation Saturday St. Antoninus Church Greeting Room, Julmar and Linneman Rds. (Western Hills), 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
