Death Notice: HOOD, William K., Sr., honored WWII Marine veteran, was deceased on January 5, 2001. "Bill" was the beloved husband of Alvera L. (nee) Dolerhie. The loving father of Janice (Hood) Lawson, William K. Hood, Jr., Michael R. Hood and Jennifer (Hood) Grooms. He was the dear father-in-law of Sue, Diane and Steve. Also the devoted brother to the late Alice R. Hood. Grandfather to six caring grandchildren, he now rests in peace. The Hood family requests that memorial tributes be sent to the Vitas Hospice Charitable Fund, PMB: 137, 407 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202-2806. Visitation at B.J. Meyer Sons (Overlook) Funeral Home, 4841 Glenway Avenue (next to St. Teresa Church) on Monday, 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., followed by Mass of Christian Burial, St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1:00 P.M.
