Wayne R. Whitehead

WHITEHEAD, Wayne R. Born in Jackson, Michigan. Beloved husband of Deanna Whitehead for 54 years. Loving father of Duane, Dean (Renee Webb) and Douglas Whitehead. Cherished grandfather of Zachary and Logan Whitehead. Dear brother of Nona (Stephan) Donoho. Also survived by his nephew, Thad (Lorlyn) Donoho, niece, Lisa (Michael) Bailey and friends. Enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1965 - 1968, serving 2 tours of duty during Vietnam on the Aircraft Carrier USS Ranger. Wayne enjoyed barbering for 20 years before beginning a career in the TTB/ATF, retiring after 24 years. Upon retirement enjoyed spending his time in Sarasota. Passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 76 years of age. Visitation at Pilgrim United Church of Christ Chapel, 4418 Bridgetown Rd., on THURSDAY, from 12:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM with Burial and Military Honors following at Bridgetown Cemetery.
