Warner S. Moore

MOORE, Warner S., passed away surrounded by the love of his family on June 12, 2026, at the age of 82. He was born June 24,1943 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Jacob and Nymphia (nee Fritchey) Ruehl.

Warner is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Susan Moore (nee Fearnley). Loving father of John (Diane), David (Amy), and Matthew Moore. Beloved grandfather of Catherine, Jacob, Joshua, Mason, and Connor. Cherished step-brother of Thomas (Estelle) Ruehl. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Warner was an avid outdoorsman and was a life member of The Southern Ohio Dog and Game Protective Association and served as President for over 25 years. He was also a lite member of the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association where he served on the Board of Directors and as 2na Vice President. Warner was also a life member of the National Rifle Association.

Visitation will be held on WEDNESDAY, June 17, 2026, at B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Road, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Funeral Service will be held following the visitation at 7:00 PM.
