Vivian Wilson

May 3, 1926 — January 27, 2021

Vivian E. Wilson (Flaig) beloved wife of Chester J. "Zeke" Wilson has joined him peacefully passing on January 27, 2021.
Loving mother of eight children Margie Stocker (Jeffrey), Tina Galloway (Bob), Jim Wilson (Bonnie), Becky Goodwin (David), Jennifer Little (Steve), Michael Wilson (Eileen), Kathy Huber (David) and Patrick Wilson (Renee).
She was blessed with 23 Grandchildren, 36 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Always smiling with each child she held in her arms.
Vivian had opened her heart and home to so many as she raised her 8 children. There was love in everything she did to make our lives worthwhile. Her laughter was a source of joy, her words warm and wise.
She was very involved in volunteering, as a Pink Lady at St Francis, St George/Mercy West hospital and working every week with her friends to create the most beautiful crafts sold at the hospital's annual fundraiser raising thousands of dollars. After the crafting group disbanded she continued to make cards up until the last couple of years for patients at the hospital.
Vivian loved ceramics and so enjoyed being a Red hatter. So much so she belonged to three groups; Purple Flutterbys, Mercy's Wet-N-Wild Mermaids and the Purple Peacocks.
In her younger years she did a lot of roller skating at the rink her parents co-owned competing in Couples dancing and had won several trophies.
The family is having a private service and when it is safer to again gather will have a celebration of life for Vivian who has brought so much to life for so many others.
Donations can be made in Vivian's behalf to the Zeke Wilson scholarship at Elder High School and the American Council of the Blind of Ohio/GCC, of which she was a long time member and supporter.
