BRAUNINGER, Virgina “Ginny” J., passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born on January 18,1936, in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of the late Clifford J. and Elizabeth E. (nee King) Gilb. Ginny is survived by her loving sons Steve (Julie) Brauninger and Dan (Kathy) Brauninger. Beloved grandmother of Jeff (Haley) Brauninger, Nick (Megan) Brauninger, Olivia (Marc) Mastrangelo, Shaun (Rachel) Brauninger and Chris (Alicia) Brauninger, and Michael Ditullio. Treasured great-grandmother of 11 and one on the way. Dear sister of Margie (the late Ken) Moores and Debbie (the late Wendall) Dewey. Cherished companion of Herb Doty. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Ginny is preceded in passing by her devoted husband of 47 years, Thomas Brauninger, and her many siblings.
Ginny, affectionately known as BeeBee, devoted her life to her family, and nothing brought her greater joy than the time she spent with those she loved. As a devoted mother to her beloved sons, Steve and Dan, grandmother, and cherished family member, Ginny created a home filled with love, kindness, and unwavering support. Her gentle guidance, warm hugs, and generous heart will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though Ginny, aka BeeBee, will be deeply missed, her love and the values she instilled will continue to live on through her sons, Steve and Dan, her six grandchildren, and her nine great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory and love in their hearts always.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church, 3172 South Rd., on SATURDAY, August 1, 2026, from 9:00am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am.
