Verla Mae Harlow passed from this life on September 11, 2019, at the age of 87. She was born to the late Murphy and Lura Todd on September 17, 1931, in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Verla had 6 brothers and sisters: Clancy, Ruby, Vernon, Alma, Norma and Barbara. She was the loving wife of the late Gene Harlow for 62 years. She was dear mother to Beverly (Bill) Vath, Karen (Mike) Osborne, and Ron (Julie) Harlow, and the grandmother to Jenny (David), Beth (Kiel), Kyle (Melissa), Daniel (Elina), Dustin, (Lisa), Sarah, Mark (Britney), Daniel (Alicia) and Spencer. Verla also was the great grandmother to Gabe, Eli, Asher, Alice, Eden, Carson, Moriah, Gideon, Cassidy, Indie, Hunter, Brody, Ember, and Rowan. Her quiver was full, and she was never happier than when her family was together.
Verla attended Central Church of Christ and Summit Church of Christ. She had a servant-heart, and many were touched by her sweet, gentle spirit. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be at the Meyer Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Road, Cincinnati, on Sunday, September 15 from 4:30PM until time of Funeral Service at 6:00PM Family graveside services will be Monday, September 16 at 9:30am, at Alexandria Cemetery, Alexandria, KY.
