Susan M. Runck

Susan M Runck passed peacefully on Wednesday September 20, 2023 at 70 years of age. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Dr. Joseph M and Ruth (Wenstrup) Allen. Beloved mother of John ‘Eric’ Runck, Phillip (Angela) Runck and Brandon Runck. Devoted grandmother of Cameron, Madison and Bailey. Dear sister of Mary Allen, Nancy (Keith) McGuire and Jean (the late Alan) Douillette. Also survived by her nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Those who truly knew Susan, know how much she enjoyed the outdoors. From Training horses to bird watching, the outdoors is where she found her peace. Susan could be found in the gardens tending to her flowers, nurturing and helping them grow in beauty. 

Susan was an accomplished artist with a degree in fine arts. Her paintings are hung in many homes of family, friends, and strangers. 

Susan also has a degree in geology. In her early days, her adventures took her out west where she participated in a geological dig.

Susan had a soft tone but didn't need to speak loudly to get her point across. Susan also worked in the banking industry where her kind smile often greeted her customers. 

We the family find comfort in knowing that Susan was baptized in the Lord.

Susan will truly be missed and always loved. 

Visitation at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Rd., on THURSDAY from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
