COWANS, Sterling D. 'Bud' Beloved husband of Patricia A. Cowans (Nee Keith) for 62 years. Loving father of Michael (Niki) Cowans, Greg Cowans, Kim Rosendahl, Missy Hazelbaker, Kathy (Joe) Hirth and Debbie (Marty) Heideman. Devoted grandfather of Tom (Nikki) Mayhaus, Keith (Brooke) Cowans, Chris (Katie) Cowans, Brandon Cowans (Kevin Ungi), Amanda (Tim) Gantzer, Stephanie (Matt) Metz, Kristin (Jody) O'Shea, Brooke (Derek Moll) Heideman, Taylor, Brennan, Connor Hirth, Lauren Heideman and great grandfather of 15 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Ken Cowans and the late Irene Morris, Wilma Gilbert and Jerry Cowans. Also survived by his nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at 83 years of age. Visitation at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Rd., on THURSDAY from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1175 Overlook Ave., at 2:00 PM.
