HESSLING - MILLER, Sharon M. Beloved mother of Thomas (Beth) Miller. Devoted grandmother of Kayla Barrier and ( Wes and Ava). Dear sister of Ted (Angie) Hessling, Kathy (Jim) Redmond, Tim (Jody) Hessling, Steve (Patty) Hessling, Linda (Jerry) Vitucci and Barb (Chris) Fortman. Also surrounded by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Sharon had many jobs, notably at Cincinnati Public Schools as a secretary for 30 years, but also at the movie theater in Western Hills selling tickets. We all remember Sharon for her sense of giving and most of all her sense of humor! She fought the battle against ALS but at no point did she let that get in her way of making us laugh or doing things and going places. She traveled on her own to Canada to see her friend Les and went with family to Gatlinburg and to see the lights of Vegas! Her fight with ALS came to an end surrounded by loved ones on Friday, May 12, 2017, at 60 years of age. Visitation at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Rd., on WEDNESDAY from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Martin of Tours, 3633 Glenmore Ave., on THURSDAY at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the ALS Association, 1170 Old Henderson Road, Suite 221, Columbus, Ohio 43220.
