CODLING, Samuel A. Beloved son of Leslie and Kristi Codling (Nee Hein). Cherished brother of Zachary (Haley) Codling. Dear uncle of Cali. Devoted grandson of Sandy Schafer. Also survived by his aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends. Passed away on April 8, 2023 at 23 years of age.

We would like to thank our family and friends for their relentless prayers, love and support and to the staff at UC Medical Center, Select Specialty Hospital and Hospice of Cincinnati for treating Sam as their own son. A special thank you to Richards Industrials and National Marketshare Group for giving us the flexibility to be with Sam as much as possible. We would also like to thank Sam's battle buddies from the 1-61^st Infantry Regiment Echo Eagles, 523rd Movement Control Team and 521^st  Movement Control Team for the love and support they have shown our family. For this we will always be grateful. 

Visitation at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Rd., on FRIDAY from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lawrence Church, 3680 Warsaw Ave., on SATURDAY at 10:00 AM.
