FLOHN, Ruth passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, under the care of Hospice Cincinnati on Janurary 31th 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Flohn, her son Bob Flohn, as well as her parents Albert (Babe) and Gladys Demerle. Ruth expressed comfort at the end of her life in sharing with us that she felt the presence of her husband Bob Flohn as he was waiting to greet her in her death. She is survived by her children Tom (Jane) Flohn, Mark (Bridgette) Flohn, Paul Flohn, Terry McRoberts, Shelley McRoberts, Kelly Von Lehmden and Alisa Flohn. Also survived by siblings Patty Bass, Butch Demerle, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her friends and family find comfort in knowing that although she has left us, Ruth and Bob are together again. She was in a place of acceptance and comfort, after living a life that she was proud of. Ruth and Bob lived a life together that was filled with adventure, love and family. We have all experienced one, if not many, meals prepared with love by Ruth. Her cooking was an act of love. It was a way of bringing the people she cared for together. Her kind heart and ability to accept each person as they were, is why there was a place at her table and in her home for anyone in need. Ruth wants us to celebrate her beautiful life. Her love for books, great friendships, travel, cable tv, home cooked meals, long phone calls, and family, are things in life that she appreciated. Explore the world through travel or books. Share a meal with someone new. Think of Ruth as you do. If you want to something more, donations can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
