Rosemary Mullen

Rosemary Mullen, age 87  , of Cincinnati, Ohio, died on January 10, 2024  after a 13 year battle with Alzheimer’s.  Rosemary was born on March 5, 1936.  She attended church at Holy Family Parish and graduated from St. Xavier Commercial High School in 1952.   Rosemary worked many years in downtown Cincinnati at Paine Weber and eventually retired from UBS in 2001.  Rosemary was a huge Cincinnati Reds fan and attended many games over the years.  She enjoyed reading and traveling with friends.  Rosemary traveled often with her cousin Pat (Mulvihill) Broderick and Pat’s family.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her sister Rita (Mullen) Meyman and her niece Julie (Meyman) Burr (Jim).  She had other nieces and nephews, James Meyman Jr. (Jeanette), Debbie Sutton (Randy) and Lori Morris (Tom).  

Rosemary was very close to her cousin, Pat (Mulvihill) Broderick, Pat’s husband, Robert O. Broderick, and their children:  Cathy Holiday (George Zink), Pat Broderick (Jerry Joffee), Mary Ann Broderick, Colleen Broderick (Tom Knight), Susan Torboli (Aldo), Bob Broderick (Jeanine), Jane Klumb,  Mike Broderick (Sherry) and Tom Broderick (deceased).

Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Family Church,  3006 W 8th  Street,   on Saturday, February3, 2024 at 10:30 AM.  A reception will follow at  the Holy Family Gym Club Rooms.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Alois Alzheimer’s Center or the Alzheimer’s Association
