Rose Mary Berning

BERNING, Rose Mary (nee Lally), wife of Frank Berning. Sister of Donald (Roslyn) Lally and sister-in-law of Carolyn (the late James) Lally, Archie and Rosemary Ellis, John and Helen Berning, Mary Ellen (the late James) Berning. Sister of the late Ruth Lally, Edward (Kathleen) Lally, Rob (Catherine) Lally. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Passed away on Monday, October 20, 2008, age 80, in her home attended to by the staff of Vitas Hospice. A special thanks to the staff of Vitas, her doctor, Scott Massa, her nurse, Pattie and aids Liz, Awa and Pat. Rosie had a full life, she sang in church choirs, the May Festival Chorus, enjoyed the Reds ballgames and most of all enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews growing up. She was a 40 year employee of the City of Cincinnati Engineering Department. Visitation B.J. Meyer Sons Overlook Funeral Home, 4841 Glenway Avenue, on Saturday from 9:00AM to 10:00AM, with Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM at St. Teresa of Avila Church next door to the funeral home.
