SHOEMAKER, Robert B. beloved husband of Ruth (nee Lyle) Shoemaker, loving son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Shoemaker. Devoted father of Paula Shoemaker, Pamela (Russell) Thompson, Bob (Laura) Shoemaker and Paul Shoemaker. Loving brother of John Shoemaker, Mary Dorothy Fleckenstein, Martha Donisi and the late Helen Fisher, Charles Shoemaker and Betty Bushman. Dear grandfather of Nickolas, Gregory, Rebecca Shoemaker and Clarissa Thompson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Member of Mother Seton Knights of Columbus Council, American Legion Post 534. Retired Superintendent of the Chessie Railroad System and decorated Veteran of World War II. Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2000 age of 79. Visitation at B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home (Overlook), 4841 Glenway Ave. (next to St. Teresa Church) TODAY, November 29, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, November 30, 10:30AM St. Teresa of Avila Church.
