Robert S. Trach

Robert Steven Trach, age 58, of Green Township, OH, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Beloved husband of Jane Trach (Nee Frey) for 32 years. Loving and supportive father of Bryan (Yasmin) Trach, Andrea Trach (Garrett DeVore) and Aaron Trach. Proud grandfather of Isabella and Rafael. Cherished son of Edward and the late Nancy Trach and son-in-law of Rosemary and the late Ralph Frey. Dear brother of Michael (Lisa Manning) Trach and William (Kim) Trach and brother-in-law of Ed (Marci) Frey, Mary Ann Frey, Pat Frey, Diane Frey and the late Connie Frey Gurski. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Bob was known for his lifelong love of music. Music was the reason he met his wife, Jane, as he was her guitar teacher in 1984. He brought the gift of music to many Scouting events and family gatherings. Bob's zest for learning led him to earn a graduate degree from the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Apart from being a talented musician, Bob was also passionate about photography, spending time in nature while camping with Scouts, and devotedly watching sports, especially the Cincinnati Reds. More than any hobby, though, Bob loved his family and friends fiercely and deeply. His selfless, gentle, generous, and optimistic demeanor positively touched everyone's lives around him.

Visitation at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Rd., on MONDAY from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ignatius Loyola, 5222 N. Bend Rd., on TUESDAY at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cincinnati Zoo, 3400 Vine St., Cincinnati, OH 45220.
