Rick Dean Cooper

COOPER, Rick, passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 63. He was born on November 14, 1962, in Sumter, SC, the son of Carol (nee Swett) Cooper and the late Larry Cooper.

Rick is survived by his loving daughters Katelin (Lucas Tirlea) Fern, Megan (Steven) Green, Leeanna Collins, and Sara Collins. Beloved grandfather of Charlotte “Lottie”, Timothy, Ayden “Little Dude”, Castiel, John-Eckardt “Fur Ball”, and Loki. Dear brother of Chelle (Brad) Greer. Cherished uncle of Cody (Jamie) Gamble and Gunner Greer. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Rick is preceded in passing by his nephew Garrett Gamble.

Visitation will be held at B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Rd., on THURSDAY, October 1, 2026, from 4:00PM until time of Celebration of Life at 6:00PM.
