Raymond Earl Shell

SHELL, Raymond Earl, a veteran of the Vietnam War, Sgt. Spec 5, peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 73 years of age after struggles with lung health. He was the treasured husband of high school sweetheart Wanda A. Shell (Nee Riddle). He was the loving father to Melissa Wanamaker (Steven Rauen), Tina (Thomas) Robinson, Renee Shell (Neilly Fletcher) and his feline friend Millie. He was a doting grandfather of 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also survived by his nieces Vickie and Tonya.

Ray worked at Sherwin-Williams, Fernald, Monsanto and retired as the handy-man at Judson Care Center. Many co-workers looked to him as an extended family member. Ray loved to make people laugh and shared his humor with everyone he met. He was a man of integrity and well respected in his community.

Visitation will be held at Meyer Funeral Home 5864 Bridgetown Road, Cincinnati Ohio 45248 on FRIDAY from 10am-12pm. There will be a military graveside honors at 12:30pm at Spring Grove Cemetery.
