Ray is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Susan A. Kirchner (nee Tenoever). Loving father of Debbi (Andy) Brown, Ray (Teri) Kirchner, Sandy (Jerry) Stauss, the late Lauri (Paul) Hutzel, and Christine (Kyle) Mann. Cherished grandpa of Allie (Joe) Wedig, Jake Brown, Mara (Spencer) Kandra, Drew Brown, Erin (Noah) Davis, Ryan Kirchner, Sam (Andrea) Stauss, Becca Stauss, Jerred (Sarah) Wernke, Jack Hutzel, Lydia Hutzel, Ellie Hutzel, Bryce and Callie Mann. Ray is preceded in death by his sister Cheryl Kirchner.

Ray graduated from University of Cincinnati with a degree in Chemistry and Xavier University with a MBA. He worked for Hilton Davis and Franciscan Health before retiring from Consorta in 2002.

Ray served with great pride and love for his country in the Army Reserves for many years before being honorably discharged.

Some of Ray's favorite hobbies include: bowling, magic tricks, model trains/airplanes, golf, Old Timers softball , woodworking, and especially carving ducks!

Ray can be best remembered for his sense of humor, love of animals, caring nature, and undying love for his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and provide support and guidance even if it was with bad dad jokes. The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love he left behind.
