Pauline M. Petroviak

PETROVIAK, Pauline M. (Nee Lanczak) Beloved wife of the late James E. Petroviak for 63 years. Loving mother of James L. (Kelli) Petroviak and Lynn M. (Tom) Butler. Devoted grandmother of Michael (Danielle) Butler, Hunter (Giang) Petroviak, Stephen (Liz) Butler, Bracken Petroviak (Dave Cunningham), Elizabeth (Taylor) Kessen, Kaes Petroviak (Baileigh Clements), and great grandmother of Lillian, Oliver and Finnegan. She was proceeded in death by her beloved grandson Phillip. Also survived by her sister, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Pauline was born and raised in Pinconning, Michigan and after high school, moved to Detroit where she met and married Jim, her husband of 63 years. Pauline and Jim moved to Cincinnati when Jim was transferred for his work at ATT. Pauline was a talented at crocheting and quilting, and used her talents for both family and charities. Jim and Pauline enjoyed touring on their Goldwing motorcycle and were active in a Goldwing club.

For eight years, Pauline and Jim ran a thrift shop benefitting St. Joseph Home, a Cincinnati based non-profit organization that provides much needed services and support for people with complex disabilities and their families. They received the Mother of Seton award in appreciation for their service and dedication to the Sisters of Charity in recognition of all their volunteer work at St. Joseph Home.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 86 years of age. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Victory Church, 810 Neeb Rd., on FRIDAY, April 4, at 11:00 AM.
