Paul J. Meiners

Paul J. Meiners, beloved husband of the late Lorraine (nee Maschinot). Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at age 96. Loving father of Linda Schroeckenstein, Kenneth (Karen) and the late Dennis Meiners. Devoted grandfather of Alex, Maxwell, Joshua, Chandra and David. Dear brother of Ruth Groene and Kathryn Behrends. Preceded in death by parents Edmund Jr. and Kathryn (nee Clements) and brother James E. Meiners. Paul graduated from St. Xavier High School (1938) and Purdue University (1942). Immediately after graduation Paul entered into service in the US Army Engineering Corps, serving in the South Pacific during WWII. Paul was a very considerate person and he leaves behind many friends who will remember his cheerful and caring demeanor. Visitation at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Rd. on Tuesday from 9:00-10:00AM. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude Church at 10:30AM. Interment immediately following at St. Joseph Old Cemetery.
