Nolan Stanley Doerger

DOERGER, Nolan Stanley, born September 2, 1993 returned back to the Lord on September 10, 2002, where he is now doing the things he loved, running through the fields collecting insects and amphibians and playing football. Loving son of Michael and Peggy Doerger. Dearly beloved brother of Maria, Michael and Nicholas Doerger. Loving grandson of Bill and Lou Anne Painter and the late Jerome Doerger, Jeanne Doerger Roetting and step-grandfather Bob Roetting. Special friend of Heather Meyer and beloved great nephew of Betty Baker. Nephew of Bob and Sharma Browning, Bill and Kathy Painter, Gary and Beth Million, Pat and Angela Painter, Jerry and Rita Doerger, Tom and Jenni Doerger and Lisa Rodgers. With many devoted cousins. Nolan suffered for 3 years fighting cancer and undergoing numerous surgeries and treatments for his illness. Nolan's love for life and tenacious spirit surrounded him with countless supporters. Nolan was a member of the Bridgetown Football team, Lunch Box Band and a cheerleader for the Oak Hills Cross Country team. Nolan stayed in our lives for a short while, left footprints on our hearts and we will never, ever be the same. Visitation B.J. Meyer Sons Overlook Funeral Home, 4841 Glenway Avenue, (next to St. Teresa Church) on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Simon The Apostle Church.
