Nancy F. Seeger

SEEGER, Nancy F. (nee Folz), age 89, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, after battling dementia.

She is survived by her sisters, Jane (the late Jay) Siegmundt and Sally (Bob) Johnson; her brother, John (Bonnie) Folz; her daughter, Sally Wells; her four grandchildren: Katie (Michael) Gray, Ben Wells, Joe (Alex) Wells, and Arthur (Caity) Wells; six great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. She also is survived by her friend, Lynn Ernst.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Edith Folz (Wang); her sister, Sue Hatting, wife of Don Hatting; her brother-in-law, Jay Siegmundt; and her cherished daughter, Cindy Seeger.

Nancy was born April 8, 1937, in Cincinnati, OH. She graduated from Our Lady of the Visitation in 1951, and from St. Ursula Academy in 1955. She went on to study math at Mount St. Joseph

College on the Ohio, graduating with honors in 1959.

Nancy was hired as an Engineering Assistant with AT&T in 1959, beginning what would become a three-decade career. She rose through the ranks and ended her career as the first female executive at AT&T, the Circuit Layout Manager of the Special Services and Equipment District in 1989. She served as a volunteer for the Cincinnati Bell & AT&T group.

In retirement, Nancy regularly volunteered in her community. She was an active member of the Pioneer's Kilgour Chapter, holding offices such as Vice President. She also volunteered with the Altar Society & Bereavement at St. Timothy Church, Union, KY, and at a local thrift store, United Ministries.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church, 3172 South Rd., on SATURDAY, August 22, 2026, from 9:00am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am.
