Minerva Fanning

Minerva Fanning passed away on June 5, 2017.She was born on October 12, 1924 the daughter of the late Ambrose F. Moorman, Sr. and the late Sarah Mowry Moorman. She was married to the late Thomas Fanning; and she is survived by her brother, Ambrose F. Moorman and his wife Susan of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sarah Jane Scharper. Minerva is survived by niece Ann Scharper Grant; and nephews, Stephen Scharper and Philip Scharper. She is survived by numerous relatives and dear friends, Sharon Donohoo and Kevin Donovan. Minerva graduated from the College of Mt. St. Joseph with a degree in Education; and she taught at Our Lady of Lourdes School before operating the Western Hills Laundromat for 40 some years. Minerva also leaves her dear friends at Cincinnati Federal's Glenway branch.
