SCHMIDT, Melda J. (Nee Hicks) Beloved wife of the late Leonard H. 'Chuck' Schmidt for 46 years. Loving mother of Terri (Len) Issler, Don Schmidt (Sherry Kembre), Jim (Mary) Schmidt and Peggy Hartman. Devoted grandmother of Wendy (Jerry) Ecklar, Todd (Julie) Issler, Bridgette, Shawn Hartman, Christina, J.D. Schmidt, and GiGi of Tenley, Layna, Angelica and Myranda. Dear sister of the late Sister Mary Herman (Wanda Hicks) and Verda Tedrow. Melda was a retired dietician/educator who earned her Bachelors degree at Our Lady of Cincinnati College and her Masters degree at the University of Cincinnati. Passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 92 years of age. Visitation on THURSDAY at B.J. Meyer Sons Overlook Memorial Home, 4841 Glenway Ave., from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
