Mary Eileen Schmalle

SCHMALLE, Mary Eileen (nee Kessing), passed away at home on June 15, 2025 at the age of 94. She was born in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (nee Hart) Kessing.

She is survived by her loving children Elmer (Nancy), Ellen Linville and Patrick (Viki) Schmalle. Devoted grandmother of Rebecca, Marc, Matthew, Michelle, Sara, Christopher, Elizabeth, Patrick (Krystal) and Michael. Great-grandmother Haley, Ethan, Joshua, Emma, Declan, Olvia, Emily, Share, Nevaeh, Brandon. Cherished sister of Patricia (the late Jim) Crause. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by dear husband Lester Schmalle, her son Lester (Donna) Schmalle and her siblings Charles (Rou) Kessing, Betty (Don) Steffen, and John Kessing.

Visitation Our Lady of Visitation Church, 3172 South Road, on FRIDAY from 9:00AM until time of Memorial Mass at 10:00AM.
