Mary Louise Vukmanic Schafer

SCHAFER, Mary L. (nee Vukmanic) Beloved wife of the late Ray N. Schafer. Loving mother of Lila (Tim) Loughlin, Louise (Joe) Kaiser, Ray (Joyce) Schafer, Lois (Dale) Matthews. Devoted grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Fran Fulton. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceeded in death by 1 grandson. Mary was totally devoted to her family, children, grand children and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, eating out, jigsaw and other puzzles, and loved to travel second only to chocolate. Passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at 95 years of age. Visitation on Thursday at B.J. Meyer Sons Overlook Memorial Center, 4841 Glenway Ave., from 9:00 to 9:45 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa of Avila Church at 10:00 AM.
