KAMMER, Mary A., 83, of Bettendorf, IA, formerly of Cincinnati, passed away January 5, 2004 at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport, IA after an extended illness. Beloved wife of Robert Kammer of Bettendorf, IA. Cherished mother of Marianne Kammer of Cheshire, CT, Robert Kammer, Jr. of Boulder, CO and Thomas (Julieann) Kammer of Longmount, CO. Loving grandmother of Alexendra, John, Belle and Robert. Special sister of Hilary Evers II of Charleston SC and WIlliam Evers of Ruskin, FL. She was born February 22, 1920 in Cincinnati, the daughter of Hilary and Adelaide (Ruhe) Evers. She married Robert J. Kammer on May 29, 1948 in Cincinnati. Funeral Services and Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM Saturday at St. Matthias Catholic Church, Forest Park. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials my be made in Mary's name to the Carmelite Monastery, Eldridge, IA. B.J.
