Mary Joyce Dooley

DOOLEY, Mary “Joyce”, passed away at her home on July 31, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on June 10, 1937, in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of the late Irvin and Ruth (nee Brockoff) Klosterman.

Joyce was the loving wife of the late William Patrick Dooley, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage before his passing in 2016. A lifelong resident of Cincinnati, it was here they built a life centered around faith and family.

She was an avid card player, devoted parishioner of St. Aloysius Gonzaga Parish, and a dedicated member of the Red Hat Society and Cincinnati Fire Wives Association while enjoying traveling the world with her late husband. More than anything, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, who loved watching her children and grandchildren grow and flourish.

She is survived by brother Skip, sister Donna, and children: Mike (Debbie) Dooley, Sharon (Jospeh) Ross, Bill (Tammie) Dooley, Joe (Bonnie) Dooley, and Kevin (Lori) Dooley. She was also survived by 18 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her husband, Joyce is preceded in death by her sisters, Janet and Lynn, and grandson, Scott.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on FRIDAY, September 4, 2026 at 10:30am at St Aloysius Gonzaga Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following Mass at the Nathaniel Greene Lodge at Veterans Park, Main Ballroom, at 6394 Wesselman Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45248 from 11:30Am to 2:30PM.
