Mark Geers

GEERS, Mark B., Beloved husband of Maria G. Geers (Nee Rose) for 33 years. Loving father of Angela Geers, Sarah Geers (Jason Kamp) and Randolph Geers. Cherished son of Ben and Magda Geers (Nee Anneken). Dear brother of Mike (Jean) Geers, Marianne (Dale) Baarendse, Connie (Chris) Mara and Bernie (Misty) Geers. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 58 years of age.

A lover of music, Mark brought laughter and song with him everywhere he went. He always had a guitar. He was a beloved, lifelong member of Germania and served as President among many roles over the years. His love of German culture and the friends he made in the German-American community meant the world to him. He was the life of the party. Mark loved fiercely and lived fully. He was a loyal and dedicated friend. He loved art and design and was always working on a project. Mark loved the mountains and traveling with his sweetie, Maria. He was our rock and our rock star. His passing has left a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled.

Visitation at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Road., on TUESDAY from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist, Dry Ridge, 5361 Dry Ridge Road, on WEDNESDAY at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Germania Society of Cincinnati, 3529 W. Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45251.
