She was a devoted mother and grandmother and leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. Marie worked tirelessly to raise her five children and was a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren. Her dedication to family was matched only by her commitment to her career. She served at Xavier University from 1982 until her retirement in 2009, where she held the position of Assistant Director of Financial Aid, making a lasting impact on countless students' lives. A member of St. Aloysius Gonzaga Parish in Bridgetown for over 40 years, Marie passed on her Catholic faith to her children. She cherished the friendships she built at work, with family, and especially with her close-knit group of friends from Seton High School, Class of 1959. Marie loved and treasured her dear sister Laura, whose light and guidance Marie profoundly missed upon her premature passing. In her leisure time, Marie enjoyed attending the theater, and earlier in her life, she loved ceramics and wood restoration projects, showcasing her creativity and passion for craftsmanship. She will be remembered for her hard work, dedication, and the love she shared with those around her.
