YOST, Margaret M. (Nee Mahon) Beloved wife of the late James L. Yost of 48 years. Loving mother of Patrick (Mary) Yost of Ossining, NY and Lynne (Matt) Farmer of Knoxville, TN. Treasured Nana of Eric and Catherine Yost, Kevin and Thomas Farmer. Dear sister of Marilyn (David) Elliott and the late JoAnne (James) Corbett. Sister in law of the late Susan Williams. Also survived by her many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 82 years of age.

Marge was born in Scranton, PA to Anna and Joseph Mahon.  She moved to Dearborn, MI with her family during high school and went on to attend the University of Michigan where she met Jim.  While in college she developed a love of bridge which carried into her final months, she loved her various bridge clubs.  Once Jim completed his service with the Marine Corp they relocated to Cincinnati where they made many lifelong friends in their early years at Mayridge Apartments and Four Towers. Marge spent many years volunteering at St. Antoninus, Oak Hills Swim Club, and with the Cincinnati Marlins.  She could seed a meet with the best of them and run the Clerk of Course so efficiently.  Supporting her kids' schools and swim teams brought her much joy and many friendships.  Marge and Jim enjoyed a stint in Toronto courtesy of Proctor & Gamble where dear family friends introduced them to cottage life in Muskoka. Once retired they loved spending time in Ft. Myers, Cincinnati, and Muskoka golfing and entertaining their friends and family.  The most cherished times were when the grandkids visited.  In more recent years Marge thoroughly enjoyed seeing her grandchildren participating in their athletic and theatre endeavors. A final hurrah for her was seeing the University of Michigan win the football National Championship with Pat and his family in Ossining, NY this January.

Services held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45206. B.J.
