Margaret M. Wesseling 1926 - 2020

Margaret (nee Bell) Wesseling, of Bridgetown, beloved wife of the late Robert J. Wesseling, passed away on Monday, September 28,2020, at the age of94. She was born in Cincinnati on March 11, 1926, the eldest of eight children to John E. and Catherine M. Bell. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands Anne and Allan Dombrowski of East Brunswick, NJ, and Patricia and MichaelHaun of Loveland, OH; 4 grandchildren, Keith Haun (Kristen), Michele Muller (Jeremy), Amy and Alicia Dombrowski; 6 great grandchildren, Mia, Reid & Zeke Haun and James, Jaxyn & Derek Muller; 2 sisters Dorothy C. Bell and Charlotte Hughes; a sister-in-law Mary Clare Bell; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Wesseling; a daughter Rita M. Wesseling; 3 brothers John E. Bell, Jr., Thomas J. Bell and Charles W. Bell; 2 sisters Clara A. Bell and Catherine M. Obrecht; a sister-in-law Marilyn Bell; and a brother-in-law Robert Obrecht. Margaret "Marge" and her husband Bob met when he returned to Cincinnati, after serving in the Army during WWII. They were married nearly 60 years, and both were ardent Cincinnati Reds fans. Marge worked many years at United Dairy Farmers and at Central Trust Bank. Upon retirement, Marge and Bob spent nearly 30 "snowbird" winters in Las Cruces, NM, returning to Cincinnati every spring. After Bob's death, Marge continued to be a snowbird in Las Cruces for 10 more years, even though she was battling multiple myeloma. Marge was friendly, outgoing, and volunteered at her church both in Cincinnati and Las Cruces. She was an active member of St. Jude Parish, Bridgetown. Most important in her life were faith and family. Arrangements are by B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home in Bridgetown. A private family graveside service will take place, and a memorial service celebrating Margaret's life will be held at a later date due to Covid-19.
