Lisa J. Sheridan

March 23, 1957 — January 6, 2026

Green Township

SHERIDAN, Lisa Jane, (nee Korte) age 68, passed away peacefully on January 6th. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Lisa lived a life rooted in compassion, dedication, and deep love for her family.

Lisa devoted more than 40 years of her life to nursing, a career that reflected who she was at her core—nurturing, selfless, and always ready to help others. Her patients, colleagues, friends, and family all felt her warmth and care, often delivered with a sense of humor that made even the hardest moments lighter.

She was the beloved wife of Terence Sheridan and the most loving mother to Jacquelyn, Andrew (Nazret Michael), and Madalyn. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Lisa is survived by her siblings Tom (Peggy) Korte, Paula (Greg) Meyer, Cathy (Wayne) Pierce, and Jim (the late Phyllis) Korte. Sister in law of Bill (Genene) Sheridan, Margaret (the late Steve) Kohls, Mike Sheridan, Pat (Judy) Sheridan, Kate (Joe) Schultz, Mary Ann Sheridan (the late Dan Franklin), Colleen Sheridan, Dan (Mary Beth) Sheridan, Nancy Sheridan and the late Mary Lou (Bud) Zorb, Jim and Bob Sheridan. Also survived by her many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Betty Korte, whom she is now joyfully reunited with in heaven.

Visitation at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Rd., on SUNDAY from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, 3172 South Rd., on MONDAY at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, PO Box 42277, Cincinnati, OH 45242 or to The Christ College of Nursing & Health Sciences, 2139 Auburn Ave., CIncinnati, OH 45219 (Attn: Alison Fender). Condolences may be sent at www.bjmeyer.com.

Outside of her career and family life, Lisa found joy in traveling, playing euchre, enjoying lunches with friends, and staying connected—rarely without her cell phone in hand. After retiring, she embraced golf with enthusiasm, proudly joining a league. She especially cherished spending time lunching and shopping with friends, creating memories filled with laughter and companionship.

Above all else, Lisa will be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving and nurturing mother, and a woman whose kindness, humor, and generosity touched countless lives. Her legacy of love will live on through all who were blessed to know her.
