Leo a Haas

HAAS, Leo A., Sr, age 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 14, 2021. He was the beloved husband of 57 years, of Louise Mary (nee Flynn). Dear father of the late Leo A. Haas, Jr. and Charlotte Anne (Arthur) Mayo. Adoring grandfather of Arthur Lynn Mayo III. Preceded in death by his brothers, the late Norbert G. (Helen - living) Haas and the late Eugene (Martha - deceased) Haas. Leo was the son of the late Norbert C. Haas and the late Amelia (nee Jacobs) Haas (Remi) Mentink. Devoted son-in-law of the late Walter and Charlotte Flynn. Great nephew of the late Anthony and Amelia Bunning, whom he loved dearly. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Leo graduated from Elder High School in 1960 and attended the University of Cincinnati. He began his career at Provident Bank and continued with related companies of American Financial Group for a career of 52 years. He retired from American Empire Surplus Lines as Vice President.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at Meyer Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Road, 45248, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1175 Overlook Avenue, 45238, at 10:30AM.
