STECHER, Laverne M., 86, went to her eternal life with the Lord on March 2, 2014. Daughter of the late William and Marie (Strasser) Stecher. Sister of Willaim and Margaret (Fluegeman) Stecher and Martin and Mary Ann (Stecher) Merkel. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She worked 35 years for the Cincinnati Public Schools and volunteered for Presentation Ministries and at the Bible Institute at XU and other ministries. She had 19 nieces and nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews and good friends. Visitation St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church on Thursday from 9:00AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM.
