Kenneth Zwergel

ZWERGEL, Kenneth J., beloved husband of Beth A. Zwergel (nee Koppenhoefer) for 29 years. Loving father of Kristopher, Kelsey and Arynn Zwergel. Dear brother of Dave Zwergel and brother-in-law of Ted (Ryland) Koppenhoefer, Karen (Jim) Walsh, Dick (Cara) Koppenhoefer and Keith (Jamie Rudolph) Koppenhoefer. Devoted son-in-law of Ruth Koppenhoefer (nee Ahlrichs). Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Dr. Zwergel (or Dr. Z as he was known) was a beloved pediatrician. He started his career with Dr. Gregory and Dr. Gerhardt but moved to Queen City Physicians early in his career. He had a reputation as a great listener, compassionate and calming doctor. He was a world traveler and loved to travel with family and friends. However, his favorite destination was Walt Disney World where he went almost every year. His passion was soccer and watching his children play. He will be missed by all.
Dr. Z passed away on July 17, 2019 at 58 years of age. Visitation at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Road, Sunday from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church, 810 Neeb Road.
