Kenneth James Schroer, beloved husband of Melissa Schroer (nee Diballa) – the love of his life - and proud father of Timothy and Matthew Schroer. Passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, August 17th. Born December 30th, 1960, Ken is the son of the late Elmer and Mary Margaret (Malloy) Schroer. Ken is the brother of Len (Cecilia), Tom (Mary Jane) , Terry (Karen), Pat (Mary Beth) and Doug (Sandi) Schroer. Ken is the beloved uncle and cousin to many. He was a man of deep, abiding faith, love of family and put his faith into action daily by serving his community as a local optometrist. His family will miss his wit, wisdom and unwavering love and will work to live by his example. Visitation Meyer Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Road, on Friday from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday 10:00AM at St. Lawrence Church, 3680 Warsaw Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Christ Hospital Foundation, 2123 Auburn Avenue, Suite 528, Cincinnati, OH 45219 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
