FISCHER (Martin) Karilyn "Kari" (nee Mahanke), beloved wife of Richard J. Fischer. Beloved mother of Marilyn (Ken) Buchholz, David (MaryJo) Martin, Tim Martin and Kari (Rich) Thomason. Loving "Gummy" Grandmother to Jeremy, Jason, Christina and Zachary Buchholz, Kyle, Emily, Bryan and Kelly Martin, Tyler, Courtney, Rachel and Peyton Thomason, Lizi Schwarz, Brittany and Morgan Fischer, Joe and Matt Hock. Sister of Joanne Moebus, Jerry (Joannie) Mahanke and Marilyn (Norman) Tubbs. Preceded in death by her brother Edward Mahanke. Great grandmother of three and beloved friend to Barbara Vinyard. Member of the Red Hat Sisters' of North Bend. Died suddenly at home, at the age of 67, on Monday, September 13, 2010. Kari donated her body to UC College of Medicine to help with the advancement of medical science. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass Friday, September 17, 2010, 2:00PM at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1175 Overlook Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the St. Teresa School Tuition Fund.
