Our beautiful angel Joshua Michael Meade was born on June 21, 2003. God made him perfect in His eyes and his family cherished him every day of his life and celebrated the person he was. He was always God’s child who He held in His hands from his birth and he went back home to the Lord sooner than we had hoped he ever would. In his wonderful and full 20 years he accomplished and overcame so much and touched so many people’s hearts. All that met him said that he had a heart of gold and was incredibly blessed.
He led his life daily by trying to do his best and listen to others the best way he could each day. He struggled at times to know how best to interact and fit within our world since he often could not find the right words to express himself. But he fully understood everything that was said to him and did his best each day to be the best person he could be with all the daily challenges he faced.
He loved life, he loved his home and bed so much and he loved Skyline and chocolate chip cookies. He was a hard worker that was always striving to do his best. He loved to joke around and play tricks on people; he had an incredibly infectious laugh and had a real passion to live life with energy and excitement. Based on this engaging sense of humor his family nickname became “Jokey” very early in his life.
His favorite thing in life was his family. He treasured his family and all the many uncles, aunts and cousins he had. His favorite moments were with his family and he spent so much time with them every day. Joshua was a very loved and adored person in his life, he was easy to love which is why it is so hard to have to let him go.
Joshua Michael Meade gave so much more to others in his life and always made you feel that you were connected with a person close to God who strived to be the best he could be. He will forever be remembered by all who had a chance to get to meet him and know him. We are so happy and comforted that the Lord welcomed him home on Easter Sunday. God bless Joshua Michael Meade; may his spirit live on in our community forever!
