SCHORTYE, Joseph P., beloved husband of Rosemary (nee Rief) Schortye. Father of Jody Schortye, brother of Adam Schortye and the late Betty Meinken. On Saturday, October 4, 1997, at 76 years of age. Visitation B.J. Meyer Sons (Overlook) Funeral Home, 4841 Glenway Ave. (next to St. Teresa Church) on Tuesday from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa of Avila Church at 1:00 P.M.. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc., 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203.
