Joseph Ferdinand Albertz

ALBERTZ, Joseph Ferdinand, cherished husband of Emma Rose (nee Steinbach) Albertz, dedicated father of Joseph P. Albertz, Janet M. (Michael) Cavanaugh, Edward M. (Nancy) Albertz and Mark R. (Marion) Albertz. Dear brother of Marie Grever, Ferdinand Albertz and Florence Hackman, and the late Carl, Henry, Alfred and Walter Albertz, and Margaret Jansen. Also survived by thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. On Thursday, May 15, 1997 at 93 years of age. A native of Cincinnati, he started as a sub for the Cincinnati Post in 1936, where he became a full time Linotype Operator until he retired as a Proofreader in 1974. Visitation will be Monday, May 19, 9 AM to 11 AM at B.J. Meyer Sons (Colonial) Funeral Home, 3726 Warsaw Avenue. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Church of the Resurrection 11:30 AM.
