John C. Georgeton

GEORGETON, John C. Beloved husband of Ann Georgeton (nee Nicholas) for 67 years. Loving father of Sunday (John) Tremoulis and the late Susan Georgeton and Chris Georgeton. Devoted grandfather of Alicia (Dustin) McHugh, Pete (Gianna) Tremoulis and great grandfather of Max, Adriana, Leo and Dominic. Dear brother of Pete Georgeton (Gwyn Bush) and the late Carolyn (Al) Jones, Mary Kontonickas and Nickie Georgeton. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. John and his brother Pete, were very proud and honored to secure the first franchise of Skyline Chili in Clifton, on the corner of Clifton Avenue and Ludlow, serving the community and University of Cincinnati since 1949, contributing to the growth of this chain and notoriety. Additionally, John went into business with this brother to start the Red Squirrel chain among other business ventures. John also served in the United States Air Force, for 4 years. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 94 years of age. Visitation at Greek Orthodox Church, Holy Trinity St. Nicholas, 7000 Winton Rd., on WEDNESDAY, from 10:30 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:30 AM.
