James S. "Wes" Wessel. Loving husband of Karen Sue Wessel (nee Brossard) for 21 years. Loving father of Jodi L. Wessel, Jason A. (Maria) Wessel, Melissa R. Claus, Emily L. (Dustin) Schweitzer and special daughter, Karla (Brandon) Cordes. Devoted PaPa of Anthony James (Sara) Camarca, Dominic Camarca, Vincent Camarca, Amanda Blust, Katie (Josh) Blust, Olivia Wessel, Ben Wessel, Alixanna Haydock, Ava Westrich, Kendyl Rae Schweitzer, Stella Marie Schweitzer and great grandfather of Rilenn, Masen, Treyton and Avery. Dear son of Jean (nee Sieck) and the late Albert Wessel. Cherished brother of Lynn (the late Bob) Matre, Gail (Carl) Woolley, Stephanie (Rick) Patterson and brother-in-law of Debbie (Mark) Moser and David Brossard. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 69 years of age.

Visitation MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Road on Monday from 4:00-8:00PM. A celebration of Jim's life will be held on Tuesday at Whitewater Crossing Church, 5771 OH-128, Cleves at 11:00AM.
