James A. Tarter

TARTER, James A., passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 10, 2026, at the age of 78, the son of the late Lewis and Beatrice Bishop (nee Foley) Tarter.

Jim is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Lisa Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Jim always loved the outdoors, especially playing tennis and golf with his friends. You could always find him at the Western Athletic club or out on his sailboat at Hueston Woods State Park.
