James Nienaber

NIENABER, James Joseph, Beloved husband of the late Linda Sue Nienaber (nee Steinmetz) for 46 years. Loving father of Brian (Kelli) and Douglas (Jennifer) Nienaber. Devoted grandfather of Kyle, Travis, Alison, Isaac, Leah, and Eric. Dear brother of Margaret (the late David) Ferguson, David (Kathy), Jack (Wendy) Nienaber, the late Sister Mary Renee SND, and Raymond Nienaber. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Dear brother in law of Janet (the late Daniel) Leonhardt, Mark (Donna) Steinmetz, James Beischel, Chris Nienaber, and the late Joyce Beischel. Having served in the United States Navy during the Cold War, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal in 1967. Passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at 77 years of age. Visitation on Monday at Meyer Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Rd, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at St. Bernard of Clairvaux at 10:00 am.
