STAPLETON, Howard E. Jr., Beloved husband of Rose M. Stapleton (née Clipp) for 61 years. Loving father of Robert and Scott (Kris) Stapleton. Devoted grandfather of Nicholas (Amy), Torey, Megan Stapleton. Cherished son of the late Howard E. Sr. and Martha Stapleton (née Rothert). Dear brother of the late Shirley (Leonard) Tenhover and Bonnie (Patrick) Taylor. Also survived by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Past president of the Greater Cincinnati Deaf Club and member of IBEW Local Union 212 for 65 years. Inducted into St. Rita's Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday, October 2, 2017, at 88 years of age. Visitation at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Rd., on SATURDAY, October 14, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of Memorial Service at 12:00 Noon.
