HAMMONS, Helen C. (Nee Honerkamp) Beloved wife of the late Henry E. Hammons for 47 years. Loving mother of Mary Beth Scheid (Mike Lahey), Elaine Kroth (Steve Pfeiffer), Leah (the late Paul) Neiheisel, Tom (Therese) Hammons and the late Steve Hammons. Devoted grandmother of Steve (Kat), Brett, Ryan (Amy), Kyle (Whittney), Nick, Marguerite (Nick), Jennifer (Dave), Emily (Kevin), Tessa (Mike), Jake (Andrea), Will (Maria), Meghan, Lee (Jackie), Ben (Anne) and great grandmother of 21 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Ed (Evie), Lee (Marge), Don (Pat), Jim (Bo), Sr. Rosemary and Joan (Fred). Dear friend of the late John Ertel. Also survived by her many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 96 years of age. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lawrence Church, 3680 Warsaw Ave., on SATURDAY, June 27, at 10:30 AM.
