Helen Maria Gill

GILL, Helen Maria (nee Costa), beloved wife of the late Frank Joseph Gill. Devoted mother of Linda Lee (Bob) McLean and Eric Jay (Paula) Gill. Loving grandmother of Stacie Keeton and great-grandmother of Lakota Keeton. Dear sister of Julie Jones and the late Annie Calvert, David, Daniel, Jacob, John, William and James Costa. On Thursday, September 13, 2001, at 90 years of age. In 1914 at the age of four Helen Maria (Elena) with her parents, Michael and Martha Costa, immigrated to the United States from Comuna Mocea, Romania. She was a life-long resident of Cincinnati. During and following World War II Helen was employed by several Cincinnati firms, among them Crosley's, Fashion Frocks and the Netherland Hilton Hotel where she remained employed until her retirement in 1980. Visitation B.J. Meyer Sons (Overlook) Funeral Home (next to St. Teresa Church) Monday from 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Church.
