Gerald “Gerry” D. Wittrock

November 6, 1965 – April 17, 2025

WITTROCK, Gerald D. “Gerry” passed away surrounded by family on April 17, 2025, at the age of 59. Beloved son of the late Harold “Hal” and Helen Wittrock (nee Plagge). Loving youngest brother of Mary Kay Wittrock, Mark (Sue) Wittrock, Anne (Michael) Kenney, Jeanne (Steve) Leist and Greg (Marie) Wittrock. Devoted uncle of Lauren and Kristen Kenney, Keira Leist, Holly Bowman, Nicholas, Ashley and Alyssa Wittrock. Also survived by cousins and numerous friends he considered extended family.

Gerry was a proud graduate of St. Xavier High School and Miami University where he majored in finance. He had a successful career working for the federal government and was honored with several distinguished awards during his tenure.

An avid golfer, he played whenever the opportunity arose. He had a passion for a variety of sports including high school and college wrestling and anything football.

Gerry had a remarkable ability to connect with others and build enduring relationships. His friendships spanned decades and included several friends whom he met in first grade at St. Jude School.

He will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Jude Church, 5924 Bridgetown Road, on Wednesday, April 30 at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Xavier High School at 600 W. North Bend Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45244-1499, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org) or another charity of your choice.
